COLLABORATIVE LAW - DIVORCE

In December of 2015 the State of Michigan passed the Uniform Collaborative Law Act (UCLA) which made it possible for Family Law Attorneys to refer clients to and represent clients in a new dispute resolution process known as Collaborative Law Divorce.

Collaborative Law Divorce involves a team consisting of a Psychologist, Financial Planner, Child Specialist, and Attorneys. Both parties are represented by Attorneys who have been trained in Collaborative Law practice. Parties agree to using Collaborative Law for resolution.
